If you want your INFINITI to stay reliable, get a regular oil change from your INFINITI dealer. Fresh engine oil lubricates the moving components and protects your engine from the harmful effects of friction, heat, and wear, ensuring your engine runs smoothly and remains in good condition, ultimately extending its lifespan. Oil and Filter Change Intervals If you want to prolong the lifespan of your INFINITI engine, it's crucial to schedule oil and filter changes twice a year. Changing the engine oil and filter every six months can significantly decrease wear and tear by creating a lubricating shield between the moving engine components. The oil and filter change intervals for your specific INFINITI model are in your owner's manual. You can also speak to your INFINITI technician for more information. Premium Engine Oil Premium engine oil does more than lubricate the engine. The oil also helps remove harmful engine deposits and impurities and prevents corrosion, ensuring your engine stays cleaner for longer. We offer you a full range of INFINITI-approved premium synthetic engine oil products designed for your INFINITI, including genuine Full Synthetic 0W-20 Motor Oil, Mobil Super Synthetic 5W-30, and Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil. Genuine Full Synthetic Motor Oil Keep your engine running smoothly with genuine Full Synthetic 0W-20 Motor Oil. It offers exceptional high-temperature protection, defends against sludge, rust, and corrosion, and is formulated to provide long-lasting engine performance and superior protection for vehicles of any age. Mobil Super Synthetic 5W-30 Ensure your engine lasts longer with Mobil Super Synthetic 5W-30. This high-performance motor oil offers the ultimate protection, even under severe operating conditions. Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil reduces stress under harsh conditions while safeguarding your engine against extreme temperatures. Genuine INFINITI Oil Filters Failing to replace the filter regularly can cause dirt and debris to circulate, leading to increased wear, poor performance, and, ultimately, shortening the life of your engine. We highly recommend using genuine INFINITI oil filters to keep your engine free of contaminants and ensure optimal engine performance. INFINITI Express Service Oil and Filter Changes You can easily replace your oil and filter through INFINITI Express Service - quickly, conveniently, and reliably. Broken wiring connections and burned-out bulbs can prevent you from driving your vehicle safely. You should visit your INFINITI dealership at the first sign that you need new headlights so you can stay safe on the road. Flickering, dimness, and haziness are all signs that you need to replace the headlights on your vehicle. Certain types of headlights, such as halogen lights, can lose up to 20% of their illumination before the bulb burns out. LED headlights also show visible signs of dimness before the bulbs are blown. Another sign that you may need to replace your headlights may be part of your headlights not working. If your daytime headlights work fine, but your high beams are busted, then you need to replace your headlight unit altogether. You should always replace both headlights at once. Should You Also Replace Your Taillights? If the bulbs of your taillights are the same as those of your headlights, then it might be a good idea to have these lights replaced simultaneously. Replacing all the lights on your vehicle at once, including your brake lights, can save you time. During your headlight replacement, your INFINITI mechanic will examine other lights on your vehicle to assess wiring connections and ensure all of your lights are in good operational condition. How Long Do Vehicle Lights Last? The headlights, taillights, and brake lights on your vehicle can last anywhere from 500 hours to 30,000 hours, depending on the type of bulb you have. The cheapest bulbs are halogen bulbs, which will last between 500 and 1,000 hours. Usually, you will have to replace halogen bulbs once or twice a year. HID bulbs should last for 2,000 hours, and xenon bulbs tend to last for 10,000 hours. Many modern vehicles use LED bulbs for all lighting fixtures on the vehicle, which is ideal since these bulbs can last for 30,000 hours or up to 12 years. If you want to have longer-lasting bulbs on your vehicle, you can ask your mechanic about upgrading your lights with bulbs that are compatible with your vehicle. How Soon Should You Replace Your Headlights? When it comes to headlights, it's better to avoid procrastination. As soon as you notice dim or hazy headlights, you should schedule an appointment at your dealership's service center, since the last thing you want is to be driving without headlights. You need both your daytime running lights and your high beam headlamps to safely operate your vehicle with proper visibility of the road. The easiest way to replace the headlights on your vehicle is to visit your local dealership. If you are noticing issues with your headlights or other lights on your vehicle, book your service appointment at J.B.A. INFINITI of Ellicott City today.
